Fair price for the standard and proximity to the park. A bit run down like most of the tourist centric parks.

Great place, but one day will not do it justice.

A beautiful location and nice set up- however- letting school-groups dominate the camp by placing them in the centre of the camp, and letting them make as much noise as they can until 10 o'clock at night is the reason we left after 2 of our 4 nights planned. In hot weather most people want to get up by sunrise to explore the area. We had a schoolgroup of a hundred kids doing a music raffle until 10 at night- they were playing music trough an amplified sound system, lead by a screaming lady, that encouraged the kids to beat their fists on the tables and scream after each question. What a nightmare. Had to sleep in the car. I could vaguely here the howls of dingoes complaining in the valley, probably as displeased as me. We had driven 1000s of kilometres to enjoy some nature and peace- rove met by this intolerable noise. Such a shame.

Close to gorge and cheap, lots of space that gets busy during peak season and school holidays. Very minimal shade for camping and lots of accessory lights shining all night from amenities, kitchen, pool, bbq areas. Quiet at least, though my advice is to camp well away from the kitchen/bbq areas as the coin drinks fridges hum loudly. Good and clean amenities, pool looked inviting, on the whole it is managed well by NT Parks.

Very good value for the price. It has all the equipments that you would need if you travel with a car or a van. Everything is accessible on foot, prepare your close shoes and your camera, it is a marvellous place. Who said that there is nothing to do in the NT?
